How to create custom reports from your databases?

It is possible to generate custom reports from your databases directly from the platform. This allows you to create a completely custom file (just like custom reports of your jobs) in the Excel or Word format.

This feature is linked to the custom views of your resources (you can find an article about this following this link). Indeed, after creating a view, a new tab is displayed: "Custom templates" (you have to be the person who created the view to be able to access this tab).

By clicking on this tab, you will have the possibility to do two things:

1. Download a configuration file
2. Import a new custom template

The configuration file contains all the information that will be necessary to the creation of a custom template (users who already have created custom templates of forms will recognise the format). Do not hesitate to use this file!

Once you are done working on your file, you just have to import it as a custom template of the view.

Once the custom template is imported, it is possible to select it when you export the resources of the view, after clicking on a new export option: "Export to customised format".

After having exported your resources, the file can be found in the resources exports page, just like your usual exports.
