Questions about access rights

If I give access rights to folders, do I also give access to sub-folders?

• There are no rules regarding inheritance rights. If a user gives access to a folder, it does not mean that the access allows to see the subfolders.

If a user does not have access to a folder, will it be missing from their folder list?

• The user will still be able to see the folder to which he does not have access. However, the contents of the file will appear empty.

Why I cannot see a document, an item of asset or an intervention?

• If a section is not visible in your platform, it means that you are not authorized to see that section. It therefore depends on your access rights and the teams to which you are assigned.

Can we define access rights only for a part of a database ?

• You can define restricted access rights so that one or several users can see part of a database.
