What are the limitations of the offline mode ?

How long can you use offline mode without reconnecting ?

It is possible to use the offline mode consecutively during one month. After one month, the user will be disconnected from the application and will have to re-enter credentials.

Can I delete attributes while using offline mode?

Synchronization at the end of the intervention may fail if a user has deleted attributes on the platform, while another user is doing an intervention with these same attributes in offline mode with his application.

Is the version of a form updated if the offline mode is active on my operator's application? 

A synchronization must be made, so that the version of a form is up to date. The synchronizations are done proactively by Ermeo.

What databases are generated in offline mode ?

For a user, only the databases of his or her team (s) will be generated. Only useful data for each user is therefore generated.

How does offline mode work if I have photos and PDFs in my forms?

If the offline mode is enabled without network, then the application will not be able to load photos and PDFs if the form is launched for the first time.

You must first launch the form, in offline mode with network. The photos and PDFs will then be loaded onto the phone. You can then use the offline mode without a network and have the photos and PDFs at your disposal. 

Regarding offline mode and Photos / PDFs, here is the workflow that currently works :

• Activate offline mode on the app
• In offline mode with the network, launch the form containing the photos and PDFs in order to load the data on the phone.
• Subsequently, the user can work in disconnected mode without network and fill in his forms containing the images / pdf

Do automatic associations rules work in offline mode?

No, associations rules do not work in offline mode.

What happens if I create assets in offline mode?

For the assets created to appear on the platform, it is compulsory to do a synchronization.
