What are the display conditions for ?
The display conditions allow you to define the information and/or tasks that will be displayed during an intervention, based on one or more criteria.
This has two main advantages :
- The first is to obtain an interactive form which adapts to the reality on the ground and to the needs of the operator.
- The second is to ensure that only the tasks / information necessary for the intervention are communicated.
So, what is it ?
Previously, we mentioned the display of an element according to one or more criteria, you will find below the different possible conditions :
The simple condition
I want to display the selected widget if the answer to question 1.1 is "No"
Multiple dependent conditions (And)
I want to display the selected widget, if the answer to question 1.1 "is" "No" and if the answer to question 1.2 "is not".
Multiple independent conditions (Or)
I want to display the selected widget, if the answer to question 1.1 "is" "No" or if the answer to question 1.2 "is not" "Yes".
Where to find the display conditions ?
The display conditions are available on the platform, in the studio.
To display them, just click on the item whose display you want to condition, then on "> Conditions" at the bottom of your screen.
Context
An operator will work on a site to carry out an engine inspection.
During the intervention, he is asked to indicate whether the engine is compliant. As a supervisor, it is important for me to get more information if the engine does not comply. For example, photos and comments, I therefore include these tasks in my form. However, in the event that the engine conforms, these elements will not be used. So I'm going to configure display conditions.
To configure the simple display conditions for your photo widget and your comments :
1. Click on the comments widget
2. Click on "Conditions"> "New set of conditions"
3. Display if, the answer to the question "1.Does the engine comply?" Is "No".
4. Repeat these actions on the photo widget
Information : When an item is displayed, the two-way icon turns blue.
Hide tasks
You can completely hide tasks (without conditions) for your operator in order to simplify the form. All you have to do is click on the appropriate icon on each widget.
For further
You can also create a new set of display conditions of type "or"
